Born in the small Oregon logging town of Lebanon, and raised by two young hardworking parents, Jessica grew up riding horses and running wild.
Her father got her involved in music at a young age, teaching her to sing songs like "Money For Nothin" and "I Love Rock n Roll" when she was just three years old. She went on to major in music and sing in choirs at Oregon State and Portland State Universities
A decade and a half later, a random Craigslist add caught Jessica's eye for auditions for a female lead singer for a country band- later to become Slicker. She auditioned with the song "Suds in the bucket", and the guys liked it so well it became a regular part of their set list and earned Jessica the nickname "Suds".
Josh Santos is a native Oregonian who has been involved with music since he was a very young child. His country music roots were inspired by his grandmother who played the piano. Josh and his grandma loved making music together.
In September, 2013, Josh was fortunate enough to be selected as the new male vocalist for the band, “Slicker”. He feels very blessed to be a part of such a talented group of individuals who are as passionate about making music and having a good time as he is. After a brief haitus from the band during the COVID years, he is excited to be back making great music and memories.
Scott is a multi-instrumental musician and singer with a background in diverse musical styles. Growing up in Hillsboro, OR, in an environment of concert bands, orchestras, musical theater, rock ‘n roll bands, and radio of all genres, he gained an appreciation for many musicals styles, from Bach to Beatles to Bruno Mars to Big & Rich to Bon Jovi.
Scott fell in love with guitar and started performing in bands in his teens. After a hiatus starting in his late 20s to complete his education, start a family and pursue his career, he recognized music had never been far from his mind, his heart or his fingers. The thrill of performing pulled him back. He is honored to make music for the last decade with his fellow musicians - and friends - as a part of Slicker.
We all have music in our lives every day, and Scott wants you to rock it, roll it, swing it and line dance it with Slicker whenever you have a chance.

Growing up in Longmont, CO, Bobby began learning the violin at the age of five and spent most of his youth playing classical music in orchestra’s and competitions. After a hiatus from music during his college days at Univ of Arizona (Bear Down!), he found a new spark for the instrument by branching into the rock/jazz/country genre’s; and has been on a journey of improvisational growth ever since.
In late 2019, Bobby responded to a Slicker Craigslist add for a fiddle player and landed the role. He loves to look for creative ways to add fiddle to Slicker’s wide range of musical styles, but is most at home shredding on songs like Devil Went Down to Georgia and Callin’ Baton Rouge.
In addition to Slicker, Bobby plays with various other bands around Portland (Pulp Western most recently), and creates solo projects for his Instagram account @bobbystoverviolin.
Jim has been playing drums for most of his life, starting since early grade school. He took up playing drums and percussion on a whim when he was 10 and has never looked back since, playing everywhere and everyplace he could! A native Michigander, he moved to the pacific northwest nearly 20 years ago. Jim has a diverse background of styles and techniques, and is a groove-based drummer taking inspirations from 90s rock bands and modern pop music. Outside of drums, he also has a passion for audio engineering and recording, and hosted professional live stream events in his studio during early covid days, supporting artists who lost their income during that time.
Jim connected with Slicker back in 2021 after their original drummer moved away. His style fits well with the modern country and rock music showcased by Slicker!
